Program Description

This program focuses on executive leadership skills and takes place at the renowned Oxford International Study Centre in Oxford, UK. Participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in different cultures, fostering the development of their leadership and personal skills, all while gaining exposure to diverse educational systems. Living abroad is an integral part of this program, contributing to personal growth by boosting self-esteem and instilling the courage to embrace new challenges. A notable aspect of this program is the opportunity to experience life at Oxford University, a globally renowned institution celebrated for its excellence in academics, research, and exploration. Program activities encompass engaging discussions and idea exchanges on success strategies and potential further educational paths with fellow students from Oxford University.


This program presents an excellent chance to explore beautiful destinations, visit iconic architectural landmarks, connect with international peers, and, most importantly, acquire fresh perspectives and experiences to expand one's horizons.

  • International Kingdom (based in Thailand)

International Kingdom is an international institution that has collaborated with various institutions and leaders in ASEAN and European countries. Our primary goal is to nurture young leaders and provide them with essential skills for networking. International Kingdom offers overseas exchange programs as a platform to gain knowledge and experience diverse cultures. Embracing unfamiliar situations and stepping out of one's comfort zone helps individuals learn how to adapt to diverse situations.


  • Oxford International Study Centre (England)

Oxford International Study Centre is a private tutorial college and language school in the centre of Oxford, with a reputation for excellence in delivering a range of language, academic, and corporate training programs at all academic levels. OISC is located on St Aldates, in the very centre of Oxford, between Christ Church and the Town Hall. It houses 12 classrooms, as well as office space, common rooms, and private study areas.

OISC has a grade one inspection report of the Independent Schools Inspectorate, which is an approved educational oversight body authorised by the UKVI. OISC is also an accredited member of COBIS (the Council for British International Schools), a member of the European Council of International Schools, the European Association for International Education and of the Swiss Group of International Schools. The principal is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants and of the Society of Educational Consultants.



Criteria of Applicants

1.    Age between 15 - 35 years old

2.    Understands basic English

3.    Chinese citizen or currently studying/residing in China

4.    Has a healthy body and positive attitude

5.    Responsible, flexible, and ready to learn

6.    No criminal history

7.    Willing to cooperate and obey British etiquette / law

8.    Never received scholarship from an international organization


Number of Participants

30 individuals (those who pass the selection process will receive an invitation letter for taking leave or requesting a day off to participate in the program)


What you will experience and learn in the program:

1.     Learn strong leadership skills and engage in activities with international youth, as well as explore various states in the United Kingdom.

2.     Experience life at Oxford University and participate in activities with students from world-renowned universities.

3.     Foster personal development, attitude adjustment, mindset, self-belief, and leadership skills while promoting self-improvement and a positive impact on the world.

4.     Gain valuable international opportunities and networks while learning about diverse cultures to further your knowledge for future work.


Program Duration:

Participants who are selected must commit to participating in all three stages.   

  • Stage 1: December 2023 - Prepare documents and apply for a UK entry authorization if required.

  • Stage 2: December 2023 - January 2024 - Attend an academic course online.

  • Stage 3: February 11-24, 2024 - Participate in activities at the Oxford International Study Centre and Oxford University in the United Kingdom.


Online Course Details for Stage 2:

Participants in the program will have the unique opportunity to enroll in a leadership and self-development course facilitated by Dr. Jakarin Sriamoon, former Vice President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

The course will be delivered through online sessions via Google Meet, taking place every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM China time.

About the Course: Being A Leader and The Effective Exercise of Leadership

The Being A Leader Course was created by some of the top thought-leaders of our time. By applying the ontological and phenomenological approaches to their study of leadership they have discovered actionable access to altering the way in which you occur for yourself in situations requiring leadership. This means you will naturally act as a leader WITHOUT having to remember what strategies or techniques to apply. Rather, you will be left being a leader and exercising your leadership effectively as your natural self-expression in any situation and no matter the circumstance.

Cost of The Program

1.     Program participants must make a payment of 960 USD to secure their spot in the international leadership and personal development course. This payment covers confirmation and tuition fees.

2.     Additionally, participants are required to cover the expenses for tuition, activities, and other costs while in the United Kingdom, which amounts to 2,679 USD.


For those who were not selected but still wish to participate in the program, please follow these steps:

1.     Apply to join the program through the website www.oxfordsummerprogram.com, select the "executive leadership program."

2.     Pay the full program fee of 4,999 GBP (approximately 6,142 USD, depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment).

3.     Participants who were not selected must also arrange and pay for their own flight tickets.


The above expenses (for selected participants) include:

1.     Round-trip airfare from Beijing to London / Kuala Lumpur to London.

2.     Orientation fees for students and parents.

3.     Tuition fees for the leadership and personal development program.

4.     Accommodation with host families in Oxford.

5.     Transportation to and from host families and the school.

6.     Two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).

7.     Leadership skills training with OISC and activities at Oxford University.

8.     Educational visits to locations specified in the activity schedule and transportation to London.

9.      

The above expenses do not cover:

·        UK entry authorization fees (If required) and passport expenses.

·        Personal expenses during the program.


Main exchange activities in the United Kingdom:

1.     Participants in the program will stay with carefully selected host families in a safe neighborhood. Accommodations will be shared with 2-4 participants per family.

2.     Every morning from 9:15 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will attend leadership skills classes at the Oxford International Study Centre.

3.     In the afternoons, starting at 1:30 PM, participants will engage in educational excursions to various locations in Oxford. Additionally, there will be a special one-day tour to London.

4.     Visits to Megdalen College, Ashmolean Museum, and Christ Church.

5.     Attend seminars introducing the application process and insights into Oxford University.

6.     Meeting and discussion with students from Oxford University.

7.     Conclude the program with a certificate presentation ceremony at Oxford Town Hall to celebrate successful completion.


Application process

1.     Complete the application form and attach resume.

2.     Write an essay in English and attach it to the application form. Essay requirements are as follows: Essay question:

a.     Topic: "Exploring the Impact: How Participation in a Program Creates Benefits for Oneself and Others?"

b.     Use Microsoft Word for writing.

c.      The essay should be more than 300 words but not exceed 600 words in length.

d.     Please use Times New Roman font size 14.

e.     Save the essay as a .pdf file for attachment to the application form.

Selection Process and Result Dates

·        Application Period: From October 15, 2023, to November 15, 2023.

·        Notification of Essay Round Results (via email): Expected on November 18, 2023.

·        Online Interviews: Scheduled for November 25-26, 2023.

·        Announcement of Interview Round Results: November 30, 2023.

·        Confirmation of Participation: December 1 to December 7, 2023
