The leaders of tomorrow begin here at the Dubai Young Entrepreneur Camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, organized through the collaboration between International Kingdom (Thailand) and English Studies Dubai. This is a unique opportunity for youth to enhance their entrepreneurial and communication skills while experiencing the innovation of the city of the future. Join us to become a leader and entrepreneur of tomorrow at the Dubai Young Entrepreneur Camp 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This program is designed to develop participants' skills in entrepreneurial leadership, creative thinking, and modern business learning, with English Studies Dubai and the University of Wollongong, Dubai as educational partners to co-design the special curriculum.

1.  Age between 18-35 years.

2.  Must be interested in developing skills in English and modern entrepreneurship.

3.  Malaysian or Chinese citizens (Malaysian and Chinese nationals residing abroad are eligible to apply).

4.  Good physical health with a positive attitude towards self-improvement and a willingness to learn about diverse cultures.

5.  Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

6.  No history of criminal offenses.

7.  Must agree to comply with the country's entry requirements and adhere strictly to the laws, customs, and etiquette of the United Arab Emirates.

8.  Individuals who have not previously received full scholarships from the United Arab Emirates.

Only 15 individuals for the Malaysia group. (Those selected will receive an invitation letter for leave or time off to participate in the program.)

This program spans a total of 3 months, from February 2025 to April 2025.

·  Phase 1: February 1 - 28, 2025: Document preparation and visa application. The organizers will issue the necessary documents for visa submission and provide assistance throughout the process.

·  Phase 2: February 15 - March 30, 2025: Online pre-departure learning. Participants will take an English language preparation and communication skills course, conducted online via Google Meet every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM (Malaysia time).

·  Phase 3: April 8 - 22, 2025: On-site activities at English Studies Dubai and the University of Wollongong in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Main Activities During the Exchange Program in the United Arab Emirates for Selected Participants

1.  Participants will stay in carefully selected hotels, such as ROVE at the Park or Holiday Inn Al Maktoum, offering a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment for learning and relaxation.

2.  Morning Business English Classes (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Develop essential business English skills, including workplace communication, email writing, presentations, negotiations, and meeting management. The courses are designed to boost confidence and practical abilities for real-world business situations.

3.  Study the Modern Entrepreneurship Program and explore new business opportunities with six outstanding courses from the University of Wollongong, Dubai. Delve into topics such as AI-driven customer behavior analysis, digital marketing, smart finance, advanced Excel skills, stock investment strategies, and secrets to building your own business.

4. In the afternoon, starting from 1:30 PM, participants will engage in experiential activities at various locations in Dubai.

·     Dubai Sightseeing: Explore the city of Dubai and iconic landmarks such as the Dubai Mall and Global Village.

·     Desert Safari: Embark on an adventure in the desert and experience the local culture.

·     Heritage Village & Museum: Discover the history and traditional way of life of the people of Dubai.

·     Free Day: Enjoy a personal day to explore the city and experience the charm of Dubai.

·     Party Night: Conclude with a party to build connections and create special memories.

5.  Join the certificate ceremony to celebrate your achievements and newly developed skills.

This program not only enhances knowledge and skills but also helps build valuable international networks, serving as a vital first step for youth aspiring to become entrepreneurs in the digital era. 

Note: The project participation fee can be paid in installments.

· Selected participants under partial scholarship will only need to pay a reduced fee of 4,750 USD, all expenses stated below will be sponsored.

· Non-selected participants will need to pay the full program fees and cover their own expenses.

THE ABOVE EXPENSES FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS COVER:

1. Round-trip airfare from KL/Beijing to Dubai (participants traveling from abroad can use a program-provided budget for self-booking their flights).

2. Orientation session for participants.

3. Pre-departure tuition.

4. Tuition fees at ES Dubai and University of Wollongong courses.

5. Hotel accommodation for two weeks.

6. Transportation for all activities.

7. Learning materials.

8. Breakfast and dinner.

9. Program-specific activities.

10. Participation in the closing ceremony.

11. Visa processing and fees.

THE ABOVE EXPENSES DO NOT COVER:

1. Personal expenses during the program.

Documents Required for Application Form Submission

1. Resume: Must include a clear photo without a hat or sunglasses.

2. English Test Score Evidence: If available.

3. Essay File

Note: Uploaded documents must be in PDF format and named using the applicant's full name.

Application Process 

1. Complete the form and attach required documents.

2. Write an essay titled “Describe a Business Idea You Believe Could Positively Impact Society"

-   Use Microsoft Word for writing.

-   More than 200 words, not exceeding 500 words.

-   Use Times New Roman font size 14.

-   Submit the application, resume/CV, and the essay in PDF format.

- Application Period: From the announcement date until January 11, 2025 (please submit applications by 23:59 Malaysia time).

- Announcement of Essay Round Selection Results: January 14, 2025.

- Online Interviews for Selected Candidates: January 18, 2025.

- Announcement of Final Selected Participants: January 22, 2025.

- Confirmation of Selection: By January 28, 2025.

- Visa Application for Selected Participants: By February 28, 2025.

The selection results for the scholarship by the committee are final.
