Program Description
This program focuses on intensive English Language learning with a native speaker. Participants will be exposed to new cultures to develop their leadership and personal skills as well as experience different education systems. They will experience living abroad which helps with self-development by improving self-esteem, giving them the courage to take on new challenges. Experience at Oxford University, a world-renowned university that excels in academic fields, research, and exploration. Activities include discussing and exchanging ideas about success techniques and opportunities for further study with students from Oxford University.
This program is a great opportunity to travel to beautiful places, visit famous architecture landmarks, network with international students and most importantly, gain new experiences to widen one’s horizons.
Oxford International Study Centre (England)
Oxford International Study Centre is a private tutorial college and language school in the centre of Oxford, with a reputation for excellence in delivering a range of language, academic, and corporate training programs at all academic levels. OISC is located on St Aldates, in the very centre of Oxford, between Christ Church and the Town Hall. It houses 12 classrooms, as well as office space, common rooms, and private study areas.
OISC has a grade one inspection report of the Independent Schools Inspectorate, which is an approved educational oversight body authorised by the UKVI. OISC is also an accredited member of COBIS (the Council for British International Schools), a member of the European Council of International Schools, the European Association for International Education and of the Swiss Group of International Schools. The principal is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants and of the Society of Educational Consultants.

Criteria of Applicants
1. Age between 15-35 years old
2. Understands basic English
3. Currently studying/residing in Malaysia
4. Has a healthy body and positive attitude
5. Responsible, flexible, and ready to learn
6. No criminal history
7. Willing to cooperate and obey British etiquette / law
8. Never received scholarship from an international organization

Number of selected participants: 60
Program duration(including travelling period): 1/9 – 14/9/2023
Things to Experience and Learn from this Program
1. Learn English with native speakers and join activities with international youths in England.
2. Exchanging cultures and visiting beautiful tourist attractions.
3. Self-development by adjusting attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs toward oneself and the world around them.
4. Gain experience studying at a reputable foreign institution
5. Experience new perspectives and create a weapon of thought.
6. Network at an international level and expand horizons.
7. After completing the program, participants will receive a certificate institute involved.
Main Activities of the Program
1. Participants will live in a well-selected host family in a high security neighborhood.
2. Every morning on weekdays, participants will learn English with a native speaker, focusing on four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) at the prestigious institutions of
Oxford through various activities with international students.
3. In the afternoon, field trips will be conducted to various locations with allocated independent travel time.
4. Special tours and excursions will be organized by the institution to visit the city and famous architecture in nearby cities such as London.
5. Visit Magdalen College, Ashmolean Museum, and Christ Church.
6. Participate in a seminar introducing Oxford University, including guidance on the application process.
7. Meet students from Oxford University to exchange ideas.
8. Attend the certificate awards ceremony upon completion of the program at Oxford University.
Cost of the Program
1. For the selected participants (60 only), partial scholarship is provided. Cost of program to the United Kingdom is USD2300.
2. For those other than the selected participants, full price of program is required. Whole cost of program is USD5240.
3. For flight tickets both ways (from Kuala Lumpur to London and from London to Kuala Lumpur), total cost is USD1075.
*Total cost for selected participants is USD2300 + USD1075
The above cost covers:
1. English tuition fee at the selected institute
2. Accommodation (Host family) in selected cities
3. Meals for breakfast and dinner
4. Activity fees with excursions in selected states and London
5. Travel expenses during the activity
6. Airport transfer fee
7. Registration fee and language test fees
8. Certificate upon completion of program
9. Flight tickets both ways (from Kuala Lumpur to London and from London to Kuala Lumpur)
The above cost does NOT cover:
1. Travel insurance
2. Personal expenses
3. UK entry authorization (if required)
Application process
1. Complete the application form
2. Write an essay and attach it to the application form. Essay requirements are as follows:
a. Essay question: “Some people believe that traveling to a different country develops understanding and patience.
To what extent do you agree?”
b. Use Microsoft word
c. Write 300-600 words only
d. Use the font Times New Roman and size 14
e. Submit the essay as a PDF file
3. Attend the virtual interview session on time (date, time and meeting link will be provided after application)

4th of September 2023: Introductory tour of Oxford
Oxford is a city of extraordinary beauty, where historic architecture, picturesque streets, and verdant parks come together to create a truly enchanting atmosphere. There are many sights to see and experiences to enjoy in this wonderful city.
The city is also home to a wealth of charming parks and gardens, such as the University Parks, which offer a peaceful haven in the heart of the city, and the Botanic Garden, which boasts a stunning collection of plant species from around the world.
5th of September 2023: Visit to Magdalen College
Magdalen College is one of the most prestigious colleges of the University of Oxford. Founded in 1458 by William of Waynflete, Bishop of Wincheste. Magdalen College is a true gem of Oxford, with its stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and rich history making it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring this historic city.
6th of September 2023: Ashmolean Museum
The Ashmolean Museum is one of the most famous museums in Oxford and the world's oldest university museum. It was founded in 1683, and since then, it has become renowned for its incredible collection of art and artifacts from all over the world. The museum is named after Elias Ashmole, who donated his extensive collection of curiosities, antiquities, and natural history specimens to the University of Oxford.
8th of September 2023: Participate in a seminar introducing Oxford University, including guidance on the application process. Meet students from Oxford University to exchange ideas.
11th of September 2023: Christ Church
Christ Church is one of the most iconic and historic colleges of the University of Oxford, and it is also famous for its association with the Harry Potter franchise. The college was used as a filming location for several of the Harry Potter movies, most notably as the setting for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry's Great Hall.
12th of September 2023: Activities with current students from Oxford University.
13th of September 2023: Attend the certificate awards ceremony upon completion of the program at Oxford University (Oriel College)
