The Oxford International Exchange Program 6 in Oxford, England, is organized in collaboration between International Kingdom (Thailand) and Oxford School of English, aiming to develop participants into capable leaders in entrepreneurship while preparing them to become successful role models.


This program focuses on enhancing essential skills needed to be a potential leader in today's era, including entrepreneurship, distinctive leadership qualities, and professional public speaking skills. Participants will learn self-discovery, develop their personalities, increase their confidence, and open new perspectives in work and life. One of the program's highlights is the creation of valuable networks, allowing participants to work with people from diverse cultures, facilitating important cultural and knowledge exchanges while building networks that help them grow as future leaders. The program takes place in Oxford, a world-renowned educational city known for its research, innovation, and advanced education. Participants will gain invaluable experiences that will guide them toward professional growth, leveraging knowledge and quality experiences from reputable institutions to achieve success.


In addition to academic skill development, the program includes activities that broaden perspectives through visits to significant historical sites and outstanding educational locations in Oxford, enhancing personal development in all aspects while fostering new friendships through international knowledge exchange. This program not only opens academic opportunities but also provides life-changing experiences that can guide leaders toward better goals without limits.

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Age between 18-45 years.

2. Understanding of the English language.

3. Malaysian or Chinese citizens (Malaysian and Chinese nationals residing abroad are eligible to apply).

4. Good physical health with a positive attitude towards self-improvement and a willingness to learn about diverse cultures.

5. Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

6. No history of criminal offenses.

7. Willingness to comply with entry requirements and abide by the laws and ethical norms, including having a valid English proficiency test.

8. Individuals who have not previously received full scholarships from the UK government.

 

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

Only 20 individuals for the Malaysia group will be selected for the Oxford International Exchange Program 6. (Those selected will receive an invitation letter for leave or time off to participate in the program.)

PROGRAM DURATION

This program has a total duration of 5 months, from February 2025 to May 2025.

  • Phase 1: February 8 - 28, 2025: Prepare documents and apply for a visa. The organizers will issue the necessary documents for the visa application and provide assistance throughout the process.

  • Phase 2: February 15 - March 9, 2025: Online learning before travel. Participants will take a course on leadership and personal development. Classes will be conducted online via Google Meet every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Malaysia time).

  • Phase 3: April 27 - May 10, 2025: Participate in activities at Oxford School of English and University of Oxford in the UK.

 MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING THE EXCHANGE IN THE UK FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS:

1. Participants will stay with carefully selected host families located in safe neighborhoods.

2. Every morning, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will join workshops on public speaking, along with lessons on leadership and personal development at Oxford School of English.

3. Selected participants will have the opportunity to participate in a successful leadership workshop from the university and can also attend public lectures from the University of Oxford at their convenience.

4. In the afternoon, starting at 1:30 PM, participants will engage in activities at various locations, such as joining a boat tour, visiting a factory, and touring the world-renowned University of Oxford. They will also have the opportunity to explore at their leisure.

5. Attend the graduation ceremony to receive certificates upon completing the program.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE


PROGRAM FEE

Fees for Selected Participants

The following payments listed are to be paid by selected participants. These amounts are the final amount after deducting the partial scholarship for selected participants.

1. Program participants must make a payment of 965 USD to secure their spot in the international leadership and personal development course. This payment covers confirmation and tuition fees.

2. Additionally, participants are required to cover the expenses for books workshop, activities, and other costs while in the United Kingdom, which amounts to 3,411 USD.

Remark: Total payment of 4,376 USD (965 USD+3,411 USD) covers expenses for selected participants only and is strictly non-refundable. Please refer to the section below for exact all expenses covered.


THE ABOVE EXPENSES FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS COVER:

1. Round-trip airfare from KL/Beijing to London (participants traveling from abroad can use a program-provided budget for self-booking their flights).

2. Orientation fees

3. Placement test fees

4. Tuition for leadership and personal development training, which includes public speaking skills

5. Accommodation with a host family in a shared room. A single room is available upon request for an additional fee., including breakfast and dinner.

6. Travel card valid for the entire two-week duration

7. The participation fee for the activities as specified in the activity schedule.

8. The activity fee for visit University of Oxford.

9. Field Trip Full Day

10. Costs associated with participating in the graduation ceremony.

THE ABOVE EXPENSES DO NOT COVER:

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

1. Complete the form and attach a comprehensive resume.

2. Write an essay titled “The Role of International Exchange in Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders”

- Use Microsoft Word for writing.

- More than 300 words, not exceeding 600 words.

- Use Times New Roman font size 14.

- Submit the application, resume/CV, and the essay in PDF format.


Documents Required for Application Form Submission 1. Resume: Must include a clear photo without a hat or sunglasses.

2. English Test Score Evidence: If available.

3. Essay File

Note: Uploaded documents must be in PDF format and named using the applicant's full name.


APPLICATION TIMELINE:

- Application Period: From the announcement date until January 18, 2025 (please submit applications by 23:59 UK time).

- Announcement of Essay Round Selection Results: January 21, 2025.

- Online Interviews for Selected Candidates: January 25, 2025.

- Announcement of Final Selected Participants: January 28, 2025.

- Confirmation of Selection: Between January 28 – February 3, 2025.

- Visa Application for Selected Participants: By February 28, 2025.

The selection results for the scholarship by the committee are final.
